Kefalonia has a great tradition in the production of wine. The native variety is called Robola of Kefalonia . The Rombola is served cool and is suitable with seafood, white sauce and wine, while it accompanies wonderful Kefalonian dishes like macaroni pie and ‘aliada (skordalia)’ in greek.
